Our Vision: Taking This Book on Tour
My dad and I realized something while writing this. The lessons we learned on our local course apply everywhere, but every golf course has its own unique story, its own signature holes, and its own community. We want to support youth golf programs not just here in Virginia, but everywhere. We want to partner with your local golf course to create a custom "Course Edition" of this book. We don’t want this to just be a book on a shelf; we want it to be a tool for your junior golfers and a fundraiser for your mission.
How The Partnership Works
We can tailor Leadership Lessons from a Terrible Golfer to fit your specific home course.
Your 18 Holes: We will replace our local chapters with a focus on your course’s layout.
Full-Color Visuals: The book will feature high-quality, full-color photos of your 18 holes.
Custom Strategy: We will break down the specific hazards and strategies for your course (I’ll handle the golf tips; Dad will handle the leadership translation).
The Promise
This is the most important part. We aren't doing this for profit; we are doing this for the pipeline.
For every custom book sold at your course, a portion of the proceeds will be given directly back to support the youth golf program at that specific course. Click here to see pricing options.
The Curriculum
Because this book is short, punchy, and visual, it works perfectly as a Youth Curriculum. Junior golf instructors can use the book to teach the "Hole of the Week."
On the Range: The kids learn the swing mechanics required for that hole.
In the Classroom: They read the "Leadership Lesson" to learn about focus, resilience, or integrity.
Final Thoughts
My dad might hit the ball into the water, but his heart has always been on solid ground. We believe that if you can teach a kid to respect the course, you can teach them to respect themselves.
If you run a course, manage a youth golf program, or just want to see your local 18 holes turned into a leadership manual, reach out to us.
Let’s fix some swings. Let’s build some leaders. See you on the first tee.
